like most of my fourth of julys, this one was spent with my family at our cabin (though we missed lindsay and ben!). our cabin is on george lake, which is two miles outside of new london spicer, where we go to watch the fireworks on green lake. this year we watched (and almost participated in) a boat parade, went tubing, and watched the fireworks. my mom still "ooh'd" and "aah'd" and we even got to stay for the entire finale instead of running frantically for the car with my dad well in the lead yelling, "we've got to beat the traffic!"
'twas a good fourth.
