i was finally able to get a camera under water. this wasn't for a special course like i had been planning to take. one of the instructors offered to let me try his camera on a dive at a site called turtle crossing. it is incredibly tough to take photos underwater. everything is in motion, the subject, yourself... i would be holding my breath to steady the shot and then end up getting too far away from it by the time the shutter snapped. either way, out of 38 pictures these seemed to be the most solid. hopefully i will be able to take it out again and show a little more of the beauty of the sea.
