my nikon has been out of commission for over 3 weeks, just sitting in the best buy warehouse not being serviced. so as compensation i've been allowed to use a loaner camera until mine is returned to me. i chose the canon rebel t1i and am loving it. these were all taken with it, and i do think i will purchase a rebel soon.

a glimpse of the unknown

i was inspired to go outside today. (thanks greg!). initially planning to macro some ladybugs or one of the many other insects that seek refuge here at the drevlow house, i ended up meandering over to a little pond we have in our yard, where i had my very own planet earth experience. i discovered all sorts of strange, aquatic creatures.
